St Helens have started the Super League season with three wins from three and one unexpected man has been starring.
Teenager Harry Robertson, who has recently signed a long-term deal, has been one of the big stories in a St Helens team that is packed with talent, including NRL recruits Tristan Sailor and Kyle Feldt.
Whilst the impact of those NRL stars has been undeniable, the three games strung together by Robertson have been incredibly impressive.
The teenager was thrust into the team last year on account of injuries and he impressed whilst at full-back, his natural position, but this year he’s claimed the starting spot at centre.
Robertson has ousted veteran Konrad Hurrell to make the position his own and he’s seized that opportunity with both hands, scoring once again on the weekend as St Helens moved to three wins from three with a 26-6 win over Wakefield.
Speaking on Sky Sports about his early season form, the teen said: “A bit unreal really, I didn’t really know that I’d be starting all three games and scoring in all of them so far so I just want to keep that going into the season now.”

Robertson was at fault for Wakefield’s try with the centre knocking on near his goal line before he became isolated one on one, however, he made up for it with an impressive try minutes later as he was the first to react to a loose ball.
“I just opened my legs a bit,” he recalled, adding: “Wakefield’s try was a bit sloppy from me so I needed to repay the team.”
Robertson is new to his position of centre but he has taken it to it extremely well but he credited the experience on the outside for making his job easier.
He said: “Playing alongside Feldty helps massively at centre. Tristan is obviously a wizard with the ball.
“I feel like our forwards really set the platform today and allowed us backs to play off the back of that. The back rowers and forwards were brilliant today.”
Whilst the forwards may have set the platform, Robertson was still able to pick up another try which takes his season tally to five – something he admitted was his full season goal
He revealed: “It was five at the start of the season but I need to set a new one.”
Next up for Saints is their toughest test yet with a home game against fellow unbeaten side Hull KR on Friday night.
