St Helens make spine call and hand out debut as Warrington Wolves welcome back key pack men

The teams are in for tonight’s Super League Round 14 clash between St Helens and Warrington Wolves.

Saints will hand a debut to Daniel Suluka-Fifita this evening, after the prop joined the club from Canterbury Bulldogs a few weeks ago.

He landed in the country last week, and will now get the chance to run out in front of the Saints faithful for the very first time.

Perhaps more interetingly though, is the Saints spine, with Paul Rowley opting to continue with Jonny Lomax and George Whitby as the starting halves.

Jackson Hastings is still suspended, and will return next week, leaving the Red Vee without their first-choice half-back.

As a result, it leaves Jack Welsby to continue at full-back, whilst Tristan Sailor plays on the wing. Owen Dagnall returns in place of Kyle Feldt, who had a disappointing evening at Headingley last week.

Matt Whitley is in at centre for Harry Robertson, meaning there is a start for Jake Davies.

For Warrington, Cai Taylor-Wray will miss out despite being named in the 21-man squad, leaving Josh Thewlis to play at full-back.

Toby King is out with an ankle problem, meaning Zack Gardner plays in the centres, whilst there are returns for James Bentley and James Harrison in the pack.
