St Helens launch superb World Club Challenge kit but fans can’t get it until April

St Helens have produced a superb kit for their World Club Challenge clash with Penrith Panthers on February 18th which takes the Saints’ current home shirt and adds a splash of history to it for the historic clash down under.

Now fans can pre-order their own shirt.

The club said on their website: “We are delighted to reveal and make available for pre-order, our Special Edition 2023 World Club Challenge Shirt.

“The shirt has at it’s core, the very popular and current 2023 Home shirt with the Match details added in gold to commemorate the participation in the match.

“It also celebrates Saints’ past World Club Challenge victories in 2001 and 2007 with the addition of two Gold Stars above the crest to mark these successes.

“At the lower front of the shirt there is the iconic image of the 2001 winning team celebrating with the World Club Challenge trophy.

“The sleeves have images of James Graham and James Roby (right sleeve) and Paul Sculthorpe (left sleeve) holding the trophy from the 2007 World Club Challenge victory.

“The collar is trimmed in red with a white insert, and the white sleeves are similarly trimmed in red.

“The shirt also features a number of special touches including ‘1873 – 2023’ printed inside the collar.

“The kit will be complimented with the current white shorts with a red side stripe and the same white socks with two red stripes from the current home kit.”

Here is what the jersey looks like:

However, unfortunately, stock won’t be available to mid-April according to their online shop.

Fortunately for fans, pre-ordering is available until the 28th February meaning they can purchase the shirt after the game.

Thus it could be the ideal purchase should Saints defeat the NRL Champions.
