St Helens in massive sell-out for Wigan Warriors clash THREE WEEKS before the fixture

St Helens’ Good Friday Derby clash with the Wigan Warriors, Friday 15th April, has now SOLD OUT, more than three weeks in advance of the fixture.

The Warriors are also expected to completely sell out their East Stand allocation, to add to what will be another huge event at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Saints went down for the first team at the weekend to Toulouse Olympique in a frenetic clash in the south of France.

That ended the Merseyside club’s unbeaten record but they still remain top of the Super League table with Toulouse still bottom – if only on points difference.

St Helens’ next fixture is against Whitehaven RLFC in the Challenge Cup this coming Saturday with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.

Wigan, meanwhile, will take on the Salford Red Devils who impressed with an emphatic win over Leeds Rhinos at the weekend.

That defeat for Leeds, unfortunately, meant that head coach Richard Agar stepped down ahead of the club’s own Challenge Cup fixture at home to Castleford Tigers on Saturday evening.
