St Helens head coach makes shock halfback choice in absence of Lewis Dodd

Lewis Dodd (7) of St Helens celebrates his try

Lewis Dodd will not be playing for St Helens this afternoon against Huddersfield Giants.

That perhaps isn’t a surprise considering head coach Kristian Woolf said he would miss today’s game.

However, his replacement is perhaps a bit of a surprise with James Roby operating in the halves.

It looks as though Roby will spend most of the game at halfback, too, with Agnatius Paasi, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, James Bell and Dan Norman on the substitutes’ bench who are all forwards.
