Alex Walmsley has withdrawn from England’s squad for Friday’s match against the Combined Nations All Stars on medical grounds.
The St Helens prop trained with England yesterday, but unfortunately experienced some discomfort with an existing knee ailment.
Although the injury is minor, England medical staff have recommended a precautionary approach.
He will now return to St Helens for treatment.
