Toulouse Olympique have announced the signing of the powerful Italian international, Daniel Alvaro, from the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The 28-year-old forward with more than 100 NRL games under his belt and has signed with immediate effect and until the end of the 2024 season.
Alvaro began his junior career with the Mittagong Lions team before signing for the Brisbane Broncos in 2009.
He had the honour of playing for the Cyril Connell Cup and the Mal Meninga Cup, two important Australian junior competitions.
His professional career began in the NRL with the Parramatta Eels club in 2015 where he played 89 games and scored 6 tries. In 2020, he spent part of his season on loan with the New Zealand Warriors. Since then, the Italian-Australian, who played in the 2017 World Cup with Italy, was still playing in the NRL for the Dragons.
In total, Daniel will have played 114 games with 47 NRL starts.
