Son of Wakefield Trinity boss Willie Poching set to make professional debut

Doncaster RLFC have announced the loan signing of half-back Kobe Poching from Betfred Super League side Wakefield Trinity.

The exciting prospect, who can also play at hooker, is the son of current Wakefield coach Willie.

He arrives to bolster the options available to head coach Richard Horne after Ben Johnston was handed a five game suspension following a grade D charge from the RFL for an incident in the defeat to Swinton earlier in April.

Poching is set to be included in the squad to take on West Wales Raiders in Betfred League One this weekend.

Meanwhile, Wakefield will take on Hull KR on Saturday afternoon, with Willie Poching naming his 21-man squad here:

1 Max Jowitt
2 Tom Johnstone
4 Reece Lyne
6 Jacob Miller
7 Mason Lino
8 Eddie Battye
10 Tinirau Arona
11 Matty Ashurst
12 Kelepi Tanginoa
13 Jay Pitts
14 Jordy Crowther
16 James Batchelor
17 Lee Gaskell
19 Liam Kay
21 Brad Walker
22 Yusuf Aydin
23 Sid Adebiyi
24 Harry Bowes
27 Lewis Murphy
30 Corey Hall
35 David Fifita

Trinity have lost their last three games against Castleford Tigers and Wigan Warriors (twice) and so will be hunting for more points in order to climb away from the bottom of the Super League table.
