Tommy Talau, the son of former St Helens centre Willie, made his NRL debut for Wests Tigers against Manly on Thursday morning.
The 19-year-old centre or stand-off replaced injured Origin star Moses Mbye and made history by becoming the first player born in the 2000’s to play for the Tigers.

He made some impressive touches throughout the game but couldn’t prevent his side from going down 32-12 to the Sea Eagles.
His dad spent six seasons with the Saints, scoring 65 tries in 149 games and winning two Challenge Cup Finals, a Super League title and a World Club Challenge.
He then finished his career with a short spell at Salford, scoring four tries in 25 appearances.
