The son of Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and St Helens legend Kevin Iro, Kayal Iro, is available to Super League clubs.
The versatile Cronulla Sharks outside back, has been routinely linked with a move to Super League but a deal has routinely collapsed.
Iro is in the final year of his contract at Cronulla meaning he is available to Super League clubs. This is because as of November 1st, players out of contract can negotiate with new clubs meaning Super League clubs can make a move for Iro.
There are many clubs in the market for a centre or fullback making a move for Iro make a lot of sense.

Kevin Iro starred for Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and St Helens in the 1990s doing pretty much everything there is to do in the game.
His son will be hoping to emulate his success in the years to come. Kayal Iro can play fullback but also across the backline including as a centre which is why he became a target for Castleford Tigers last year.
At the time, Andy Last said on BBC Radio Leeds: “Yeah, I can’t really comment on what other teams are doing. All I know is that we are looking and we’ve had some inquiries about some players. The final part of it is getting the deal done.
“It’s tough. Other teams have been a bit more successful than we have. But we are looking and we want to get that player in that can make a difference.”
He added: “An offer has been made and it’s a case of seeing if we can get it across the line. He’s someone I think could help us.
“The process of recruitment and getting players across the line, you identify the player, offer them a deal and they may agree but the other club on the other side of the world have got to agree to it.
“We’re working through a process and hopefully we get positive news. It’s not a done deal yet.”
