Adrian Lam’s Leigh Leopards came up short today against Salford Red Devils in a thriller that ended 22-20.
However, it could have been a very different game for the Leopards on a day when they only lost by two points given they were disallowed a try in the first half that perhaps should have been given.
Jon Wilkin said of the decision when Lachlan Lam’s pass to Kai O’Donnell was ruled forward:
“Adrian Lam is fuming, Lachlan Lam is fuming. He thinks the pass was good and so do I.
“I think the pass was good and it was a great line from Kai O’Donnell who just fades to Brodie Croft’s outside shoulder.
“A smart piece of play and Lachlan Lam is holding his head and no wonder because I think he’s right.

Meanwhile, Kyle Amor added:
“It was a gorgeous line from Kai O’Donnell and I think Leigh are right, Lachlan Lam and Adrian Lam are furious with that decision.”
Jamie Jones-Buchanan back in the Sky Sports studio said:
“Disallowed for a forward pass, I thought it was fine, I thought the pass was on the money.”
