Following the festival of rugby league that was Magic Weekend there’s obviously fewer games on television this week, but what we do have are a quality set of games.

With Magic Weekend running on Saturday and Sunday there are no Super League games on Thursday this week meaning the northern hemisphere action gets underway a day later than the NRL.

Friday 9th June

St Helens vs Wigan Warriors: 8:00pm on Sky Sports Main Event/Arena

It’s the Good Friday derby that gets the action underway this week with Saints looking to avenge the earlier loss on Good Friday. They enter this game after hammering Huddersfield whereas Wigan will look to recover from their poor showing against Catalans.

Saturday 10th June

Brisbane Broncos vs Newcastle Knights: 8:30am on Sky Sports Arena
Sydney Roosters vs Penrith Panthers: 10:35am on Sky Sports Arena
Warrington Wolves vs Huddersfield Giants: 5:00pm on Sky Sports Arena

Saturday gets underway with Herbie Farnworth’s Broncos facing Dom Young’s Knights. It’s followed by a showing of Victor Radley against two time reigning champs Penrith. We’re then treated to a rare Super League game on Saturday television with both Warrington and Huddersfield looking to bounce back from a disappointing Sunday in Newcastle.

Sunday 11th June

Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla Sharks: 7:05am on Sky Sports Main Event
St Helens vs Wigan Warriors: 1:00pm on The Sportsman Youtube Channel

Sunday sees fifth play fourth in the NRL as both Melbourne and Cronulla look to recover from defeat last weekend. The afternoon action comes from the Betfred Women’s Super League with Saints hosting Wigan at the Totally Wicked Stadium live and free on The Sportsman Youtube Channel.
