St Helens star Sione Mata’utia has taken to Instagram to show his displeasure at the ban that will keep him out of Saints’ Challenge Cup final with Castleford on Saturday.
Mata’utia was given two bans for two separate incidents by the RFL’s disciplinary committee.
On appeal, the forward’s two-match ban was downgraded to one, but it still means that Mata’utia will sit out the showpiece event at the weekend.
And, that has prompted the 24-year-old to take to social media to show how gutted he is.

The disciplinary is a farce. Tackles much worse than yours go unpunished every week. Pathetic
