Singleton on why Toronto deserve another chance

Wigan Warriors forward Brad Singleton believes Toronto Wolfpack deserve another chance in the Super League.

Singleton signed for the club from Toronto after leaving Leeds Rhinos in 2019. He believes the change in ownership believes the club deserves a chance to put it right.

He said: “I think what came out of this was David Argyle was the person at fault. With him out of the picture, I think Toronto deserve a crack.

“With Brian McDermott  at the helm, I think they will go well. They are putting things in place now to sort the salary cap for next time. I don’t think they will get it wrong, and they will get a squad that can compete.

“In general, if rugby league doesn’t expand, then what are they doing?”

A decision on the Wolfpack’s Super League status is due to be made soon.
