When you think of Sheffield Eagles and Hull FC, the Challenge Cup always comes to mind.
The Eagles pulled off perhaps the biggest Wembley shock ever under John Kear in 1998 when they defeated Wigan to claim the cup whilst Hull FC won the trophy in back-to-back finals in 2016 and 2017 having also pulled off a shock win under Kear in 2005.
So, perhaps it was fate that the draw would bring them together on the road to the final in 2022 in what should be a fantastic occasion.
Kick-off time and TV channel

Predicted Line-ups
Sheffield Eagles
Having scored 94 points in their last two games, Sheffield will likely make very few changes for this game with Bayley Liu the only player from last week’s 17 unavailable for this clash. The in form Matty Chrimes will figure after scoring six tries in his last two games including four in the last cup tie. On loan halfback Tom Holmes will make his second appearance on the bench at the home of his parent club Featherstone.

Hull FC
On the back of two good wins against Leeds and Huddersfield making it four from six so far this season, Brett Hodgson will likely make few changes to his side especially with few first teamers ready to return. Carlos Tuimavave is the only potential returnee and he will replace Connor Wynne or Mitieli Vulikijapani in the backline.
