Today England will take on France in a special shirt which pays homage to one of the greatest English players ever in the shape of Rob Burrow.
Burrow has been battling Motor Neurone Disease for four years and the jersey incorporates the MND Association colours and raises money for the charity.
Now England coach Shaun Wane has paid tribute to Burrow.
Burrow continuously caused Wane’s Wigan Warriors side problems back in the day and they even tried to sign him at one point when Burrow was less than happy playing at nine for the Rhinos.
So Wane has always respected Burrow.
🗣️ "How he's coping with this disease speaks volumes for him."

“I’ve reviewed Leeds many, many times and he was always at the top of the list. Whether he played in the halves or he played in the nine, he was always an unbelievable ball carrier and very destructive,” Wane said of Burrow.
“He’s very sharp and was always a threat. I’m a big Rob Burrow fan and I always have been, and how he’s coping with his disease speaks volumes for him.
“How him and his family with the dignity they’ve shown and the humbleness has been fantastic and it shows you how caring our game is.
“We’re all one big family and we look after each other and this is another testament to that.”
