Shaun Wane makes hooker decision as England stars debut against ex-St Helens and Leeds Rhinos men

Shaun Wayne has named his team for tonight’s World Cup warm-up fixture against Fiji.

Between the two sides, the 26 players starting are dominated by Salford.

The Red Devils have three starters for England with Kallum Watkins named at centre, Marc Sneyd at halfback and Andy Ackers preferred at nine to Michael McIlorum.

Meanwhile former Leeds Rhino and current Salford star King Vuniyayawa starts at prop for Fiji.

Other notable Fiji stars include former St Helens man Kevin Naiqama who is headed to Huddersfield in 2023 as well as Hull FC outside back Mitieli Vulikijapani.

Returning to England, NRL trio Dom Young, Herbie Farnworth and Victor Radley all debut.

George Williams captains the side in the halves whilst veteran props Chris Hill and Mike Cooper start.
