Shaun Wane gave a Zoom conference today, outlining his preparations for England’s game against the Combined Nations All Stars next Friday night, but still remained coy about a potential role at Wigan.
The former Wigan prop forward led the Warriors to three Grand Final victories, a Challenge Cup and a World Club Challenge and has been rumoured to be returning in some kind of backroom capacity.
But, when asked about a move to the DW Stadium, Wane kept his cards close to his chest.
“That’s my only focus and I can’t wait for that,” the 56-year-old.
He was pressed further, but Wane wouldn’t reveal anything more: “I’m just absolutely hell-bent on that when we meet on Tuesday, we make sure the players get a good session and prepare them ready for Friday.”
