Shaun Johnson has been dropped from the New Zealand squad to face Great Britain this Saturday.
Kiwis coach Michael Maguire has instead opted to partner Kieran Foran, who’s last international cap came in 2017, with captain Benji Marshall in the halves.
The decision comes after Johnson’s sub-par performance against Australia last week, in which the half-back himself admitted he “played s**t”.
Meanwhile, Canberra Raiders forward Joseph Tapine comes in to replace rookie prop Braden Hamlin-Uele, while Adam Blair will win his 50th international cap from the bench.
