Segeyaro to leave the Broncos

Parramatta Eels 6-20 Cronulla Sharks

The Brisbane Broncos and James Segeyaro have reportedly failed to come to an agreement for a possible new deal, meaning the hooker will likely exit the club.

The Brisbane Broncos are rumoured to be doing a roster clean out to free up salary cap space for a new halfback.

Segeyaro was only on a short term deal after a mid season release from the Cronulla Sharks for similar reasons saw him land at Red Hill.

The Papua New Guinean International player was also playing as a second string hooker, at first to rising star Jake Turpin, then to Andrew McCullough.

Things seemed hopeful for the 28 year old, with rumours McCullough was being released, however it seems James Segeyaro is also on the way out.
