James Segeyaro has been provisionally been suspended by the NRL after testing positive for the banned substance LGD-4033.
The drug is believed to enhance muscle growth, and is yet to reach clinical trials, let alone be cleared for professional athletes.
The fact that the substance has not yet been to clinical trials means that the impact it has on the body is still unknown.
This news comes in after reports yesterday that the Broncos were unable to reach an agreement with the hooker with a contract for 2020.
It is possible that the reason behind the Broncos and the 28 year old not reaching an agreement could be in part due to this situation.
