Scotland vs Italy: Kick-off time, venue, TV channel and team news

After a fantastic opening day in the World Cup, day two gets underway as Scotland take on Italy.

Italy are driven by NRL talent whilst Scotland have a few notable Super League players.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Kick-off time and venue

The game kicks off at 14:30 at Kingtson Park in Newcastle.

TV Coverage

TV coverage starts at 14:00 on BBC Two.

Team News

Scotland are without number one Lewis Clarke which means either winger Matty Russell or halfback Ryan Brierley will have to start at fullback. This will prompt a shuffle around in the rest of the team. Italy meanwhile will be led by skipper Nathan Brown. Bellow are the squads for the game:
