Sarginson free to appear in Cup Final

Salford Red Devils centre Dan Sarginson has been cleared to play in the Challenge Cup Final on Saturday after avoiding suspension by the Disciplinary Panel.

Sarginson was sin binned during Thursday’s win over Huddersfield Giants after his tackle on Ashton Golding for Dangerous Contact. He was given a Grade A charge, and not given a ban.

Elsewhere, Leeds Rhinos forward Tom Holroyd was given a caution after his tackle on Jack Brown during the Rhinos win against Hull FC, which was deemed Dangerous Contact.

Both players are free to appear for their clubs this week.
