Samoa vs France: Kick-off time, Venue, TV Channel and Team News

It’s do or die for both Samoa and France today. Both come into the game with one win from two so a win today would secure their place in the quarter-finals alongside England where they’re likely to meet Tonga at Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium.

An exciting match up between two teams with plenty of quality and the stakes could not be higher at this stage of the tournament.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

Kick-off time and venue

The game kicks off at 17:00 at Warrington Wolves’ Halliwell Jones Stadium.

TV Channel

TV coverage starts at 16:30 on BBC Two.

Team News

Samoa again have a decent Super League contingent with Hull FC’s Ligi Sao and Salford Red Devils’ Tim Lafai likely to back up after the win over Greece last week. Ken Sio could also feature alongside NRL stars like Jarome Luai. As for France, there is no Morgan Escare but Leeds Rhinos’ new recruit Justin Sangare is set to feature in a team dominated by the Catalans Dragons.
