Channel 4 has been a revelation for rugby league fans in 2022.
With Sky Sports continuing its long-lasting deal with Super League, Premier Sports and Channel 4 have also taken on the mantle for other rugby league coverage.
Channel 4, in particular, has earned rave reviews when games have been broadcast, not least the first game of the terrestrial coverage era between Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves.
However, with normal host Adam Hills in Australia for the next Channel 4 offering of Wigan Warriors against Salford Red Devils, Helen Skelton – Richie Myler’s partner – will be taking the reins.
The game will kick off at 12.30pm as per usual, but the game will take place on a SUNDAY, 24 April instead of its usual Saturday slot.
Alongside Skelton, Martin Offiah, Sam Tomkins, Danika Priim and Kyle Amor have been listed as pundits but that has changed before with Mark Wilson on commentary.
The next Channel 4 match is on SUNDAY week 24th April – Wigan v Salford 12.30pm for a 1pm kick off.
Adam Hills is back in Australia so Helen Skelton will present. Currently Martin Offiah, Sam Tomkins, Danika Priim and Kyle Amor are listed as pundits but that has changed before.

Hills has been an incredible ambassador for the sport since taking on a role at the Warrington Wolves’ PDRL side and spoke to the Warrington website about his time so far.
Hills said: “The phrase “a breathe of fresh air” has been used a lot and not just because we’re covering it pitchside!
“It’s been overwhelmingly positive and the amount of people watching has been great.
“I think the first game peaked at 750,000 people. Rugby League fans really love the sport and want it to be presented the right way.
“I also know that there’s a honeymoon period there and we need to keep getting it right every week.”
They have got it right every week so far and long may it continue!
