Sam Lisone has his say on whether second part of Leeds Rhinos’ double coup will happen

Women’s rugby league is growing and developing at a fantastic rate at present.

The Women’s Rugby League World Cup was outstanding and gave English fans the chance to enjoy some of the best players in the game at present.

One of those is headed to Super League reportedly in the shape of Georgia Hale.

The New Zealand international and the New Zealand Warriors star is one of the best players in the game at present and is now a World Cup Finalist.

Hale is rumoured to be following her partner Sam Lisone to Leeds Rhinos with the club reportedly using the fact that they could play together for the same club as a bargaining chip in tempting the two to the club to bolster the men’s and women’s squads.

Lisone has now had his say on whether this move will happen:

“I’m not sure, I’m sure she will make her own decision when she gets here.”

As he could be key to Hale’s Headingley switch, David Fusitu’a and Bodene Thompson were key to his move:

“We talk all the time, it wasn’t a hard decision when I spoke to David I was like ‘I’m coming here.’

“I’m staying with David, helping babysit. Should start a babysitting business.”

“We’ve known each other since I was 13 or 14.”

“I spoke to Fusitu’a and Bodene Thompson.”
