Sam Burgess in cryptic bombshell against ex-wife

The latest twist in the Burgess saga has been revealed, with Sam now posting a cryptic message on his Instagram story about ‘misfortune’ amidst ex-wife Phoebe’s glaring admission.

Phoebe Burgess, who has a following of over 800,000 on Instagram, revealed – in her own words – an alleged massive club cover-up of repeated scandals at the South Sydney Rabbitohs that involved SAS Australia champion Sam.

But, Sam has seemingly attributed those mistakes to the actions of a man in his youth after posting a poem labelled Desiderata by Max Ehrmann from the 1920s.

“Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth,” the poem says.

“‘Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.”

Sam had recently starred in reality TV program SAS Australia, where he was the only competitor to complete the whole course.

But, Phoebe launched a massive tirade, stating what viewers were seeing was, “a careful edit, a carefully curated comeback show” instead of Sam showing, “a true sense of responsibility’ and ‘owning behaviour, wanting to change that behaviour.”
