Warrington Wolves boss Sam Burgess has been left wanting more, despite his side knocking off World Champions Hull KR in impressive fashion.
Wire bounced back from two straight defeats to beat the Robins 34-12, as a try double from Matty Ashton helped them to the victory.
Lachlan Webster, James Harrison, Danny Walker and Joe Philbin also crossed the whitewash, with the majority of the scores coming in the first half.
That allowed the Wolves to take a 22-0 lead into the half-time break, leaving nearly every fan in the ground stunned at what they had witnessed.
The second half proved to be more competitive, with KR finally getting on the scoresheet through Oliver Gildart and James Batchelor, however it would be another defeat for the reigning champs, who find themselves out of play-off contention with just eight games of the season left.
Despite the improved effort from his side, Burgess still believes there is more to come from the squad, with their efforts in the first and second 40 a huge contrast.
“Certainly in the first half I thought we were very composed,” he said post-match. “I thought we did our jobs in the first half, I thought the second half was really scrappy. If we’re being honest about the game, we thought the second half was poor. We had a poor second half.
“We just did enough. There’s plenty of improvement in us, for sure, but I just like the way we defended harder for each other. We defended some of the poor choices with the ball in the second half a little bit better than we have been doing.
“It was a step forward, but, if we’ve been honest about it, the first half was great. The second half was average.”
Ashton’s double took him to a century of Warrington tries, and it’s a huge feat for the winger, who has had to battle plenty of lengthy injuries throughout his career.

Warrington Wolves boss explains James Bentley decision as forward urged to improve
For the first time this season, Adam Holroyd made a starting appearance, with the back rower replacing James Bentley, who dropped to the bench.
Burgess, who brought Bentley to the club on a one-year deal after his Leeds Rhinos exit, has revealed that the call was made in an attempt to urge the Irish international to improve on one key area of his game.
“James’ discipline has been poor, that’s the bottom line,” he stressed. “I’m pretty open with James about that – he needs to tidy it up.
“He needs to understand that you can’t do that and stay on the team, really. I thought he, in his small time he had on the field, was more composed today, so we’ll just try and build that back up, but he needs to he needs to be a little bit better.”
