Sam Burgess heading for shock TV deal

Sam Burgess could be set for another television appearance after being spotted with former Labor senator Sam Dastyari in Sydney.

The Daily Telegraph has revealed that the two met for what the paper suggested could be a new project after both made their reality TV debuts in recent years.

Burgess has already been kept on by Channel 7 to appear in another TV series following the former South Sydney Rabbitohs’ great success on SAS Australia, where he was the only competitor to pass the whole course.

Dastyari, meanwhile, appeared on season five of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2019, but failed to make any inroads, exiting the competition second-to-last.

What has been speculated is that both Sams could be heading for Big Brother VIP – essentially, Australia’s version of Celebrity Big Brother.

Burgess had recently been involved in a purchase of the Woy Woy club down on Sydney beach, adding to the fast pace at which his life has been ran the past year.

The 32-year-old avoided conviction for driving with cocaine in his system in February after pleading guilty to three driving charges following a police pull-over, whilst his domestic violence case investigation was dropped by police which could prompt a sensational coaching return to the NRL.
