Salford and Warrington have both announced their 21-man squads for Tuesday evening’s Super League fixture at the AJ Bell Stadium (KO 5:30pm).
The Wolves’ win over Catalans took them into first place in the table, while the Red Devils also picked up a win over Hull but do still sit in ninth.
The two sides will not only face off this Tuesday, but also four days after on Saturday, in the Challenge Cup semi-final double header at St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium.
The game is part of a double header, preceding the first Wigan v St Helens derby of the season.
Salford Red Devils
In light of their semi-final clash at the weekend, Ian Watson has rotated his side, with youngsters Connor Aspey and Luis Roberts, and loan duo Olly Ashall-Bott and Tom Gilmore all a chance of making their debuts. Captain Lee Mossop has also been recalled, while Dan Sarginson, Kevin Brown, Joey Lussick and Gil Dudson are among those who drop out.

Warrington Wolves
Steve Price has rung the changes as he rotates his squad ahead of next weekend’s semi-final. Only four players are included from the Wolves’ top 17, including Stefan Ratchford who missed last week’s win. Several youngsters are also in contention, with possible debuts for Nathan Roebuck, Connor Wrench, Cole Oakley and ex-Wigan and Swinton forward Kyle Shelford, who signed a reserve contract at the start of 2020.
