Salford v Warrington: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

After the heartache of losing to a Jackson Hastings drop goal, Salford host Warrington tonight. The Wolves have been up and down in recent games. After a shocking loss to Huddersfield in front of their own fans, Warrington thumped Castleford on Saturday. Can the Wolves piece together some consistency or will Salford shock their Lancashire rivals?

The Red Devils again are in a position where they could hand a debut to high profile signing Joe Burgess. On the other side of things, Pauli Pauli will miss out through suspension whilst Salford also carry plenty of injuries into this game. Kevin Brown, Matty Costello and Andy Ackers are all absent through injury whilst Dan Sarginson is still suspended. Interestingly, Oliver Roberts and Sam Luckley have been drafted into the 21-man squad as has Connor Aspey who could feature in the side as Salford struggle for hookers especially following the injury to Danny Addy last week.

Meanwhile, Warrington will most likely remain relatively unchanged although the return of Sitaleki Akauola throws a spanner into the works as he could replace Rob Butler on the bench. Tom Lineham is still likely to be left out whilst the injuries to Greg Inglis and Matty Ashton should mean Stefan Ratchford remains at fullback.
