Salford v Huddersfield: Predicted line-ups and late injury news

Tonight, Huddersfield are looking to continue their fine form with a win against the Salford Red Devils. Huddersfield have beaten the likes of Hull FC and Wakefield recently but Salford will provide a unique challenge having pushed Wigan all the way last time out.

The Red Devils are once again facing a tough challenge after being forced to make seven changes to their squad ahead of this clash. Oddly, they still have a number of halfbacks at their disposal four of which I believe will feature with Tui Lolohea at fullback and Ata Hingano on the bench. Their outside backs could face a re-jig with the return of Morgan Escare and Krisnan Inu. However, there’s a gapping hole in their pack following the retirement of Lee Mossop so Josh Johnson could very well start at prop with the on loan Dan Norman coming onto the bench.

As for Huddersfield, they’re boosted by the return of Ricky Leutele and Jack Cogger. Cogger’s return is timely following the injury to Oliver Russell. His inclusion in the side could also enhance the development of Will Pryce moving forward. Meanwhile, Joe Greenwood will likely be promoted to the starting 17 due to Chris McQueen’s absence. Sam Wood will also keep his place in the side after claiming three Man of Steel points against Wakefield.
