Salford Red Devils vs Hull FC: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Salford are in the position Hull FC dreamed they’d be in at this stage of the season.

The Red Devils are currently in the top six knowing that if they keep winning – having won seven of the last nine – they’ll secure a place in the play-offs and could even sneak into the top four depending on what happens with Catalans.

As for Hull FC, once again their season has stalled in the second half of the year and with plenty of injuries and struggling for results, they’ll be looking ahead to 2023 already.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 19:45.

There is no live coverage but BBC will show highlights on the Super League Show.

Predicted Line-ups

Salford Red Devils
There’s an argument to be made that Paul Rowley has just named his strongest squad of the season and it gives him plenty of options. Shane Wright could return to the frontrow as Jack Ormondroyd drops to the bench as an impact sub alongside another former Rhino in the returning King Vuniyayawa. Speaking of returns, another man back could take a spot on the bench. Dan Sarginson is the man in question and we’ve seen Rowley is not against naming backs on the bench as he’s done often this year.

Hull FC
The Black and Whites welcome back Jake Connor but even despite Jack Walker’s injury, he won’t play at fullback with Will Smith there and Ben McNamara at stand-off so Connor will take over at centre with Harvey Barron or Davy Litten on the wing. Jordan Johnstone will start at nine due to the loss of Danny Houghton and Joe Lovodua. Their absence could also see Denive Balmforth get more minutes.
