Salford Red Devils vs Huddersfield Giants: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Once again you could argue Salford’s game this week is the game of the round as they host the high flying Huddersfield Giants in a battle between the two surprise packages of 2022.

Salford will be wounded after they were ultimately well beaten by Leeds last week despite a valiant effort which saw them slip out of the play-off spots at the expense of the Rhinos. A quick response is needed.

But will it come in the Ian Watson derby as he brings his Giants to his old stomping ground hoping to generate more momentum for the play-offs.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 13:00.

TV coverage begins live at 12:30 on Channel 4.

Predicted Line-ups

Salford Red Devils
Salford have lost two of the team who lost to Leeds last week. Dan Sarginson’s hamstring injury will see Ryan Brierley return to the starting line-up which will open up a gap on the bench as will the loss of Sam Luckley to concussion protocols. Those spots will likely be taken by Tyler Dupree who is back from injury whilst the other could go to one of Harvey Livett, Ryan Lannon and Greg Burke.
