Salford Red Devils star set to return for Scotland and feature alongside Hull KR star

Scotland haven’t won a game yet in the Rugby League World Cup but could still finish joint second with a win over Fiji in their final game of the groups.

Ahead of that game, Nathan Graham has named his squad for the contest with Salford Red Devils star Ryan Brierley returning to the side after missing the defeat to Australia last week.

He joins Hull KR star Kane Linnett in the 19-man squad as well as St Helens man James Bell who shone in defeat to Australia last week.

NRL star Euan Aitken will join the three at the back of the scrum as former Warrington Wolves man Matty Russell will likely start on the wing alongside former Wigan Warriors target Lachlan Walmsley of Halifax Panthers.

Wakefield Trinity hooker Liam Hood will start at nine with Hull KR bound prop Sam Luckley also included.

Skipper and former Huddersfield Giants man Dale Ferguson is also included in the 19-man squad as is Halifax’s Ben Hellewell who has Super League experience with Leigh Centurions.
