Last year, when fit, Elijah Taylor was one of Salford’s best players.
He has now been awarded the captain’s armband and if he can remain fit for the majority of next season he could very well become one of the top loose-forward’s in the league such is his blend of skill and physicality.
Alongside exciting signings in the spine like Ryan Brierley, Marc Sneyd and Bordie Croft, the Red Devils have a competitive squad for next season with Paul Rowley likely to add something extra as Head Coach.
Speaking of such a role, Taylor has now taken on the Team Manager role at Bury Broncos. With 100 NRL appearances alongside 11 international appearances for New Zealand, he’ll give the Open Age side at Bury plenty of experience and will no doubt give them a welcome boost going into 2022.

The club have also given their thanks to departing Head Coach Kev Raynor who took the club to their highest ever league position.
Taylor will begin his role this Tuesday as pre-season training begins and will take the club in a new and exciting direction.
