The teams are in for France vs Greece in Doncaster tonight.
The two other teams in England’s group, both sides are looking to join England in the winners’ circle with France set to take on England in Bolton this week.
It is a must win game for France if they want to shock a few and make the quarter-finals at Samoa’s expense and the French have named a very strong squad in search of a win.
Salford Red Devils fullback Morgan Escare is set for an appearance at fullback whilst Leeds Rhinos signing Justin Sangare starts on the bench setting up the French for massive impact off the bench as new St Helens assistant Laurent Frayssinous and new Featherstone boss Sean Long assemble a note worthy side.
Catalans dominate with Arthur Romano, Samisoni Langi. Mathieu Laguerre and Fouad Yaha making up the backline with Arthur Mourgue in the halves alongside 2018 Lance Todd Trophy winner Tony Gigot.
As for Greece South Sydney Rabbitohs’ star halfback Lachlan Ilias is named at six alongside skipper Jordan Meads in half.
Billy Magoulias, formerly of Warrington starts at 13.
