Salford Red Devils’ James Greenwood hobbles off with serious looking injury against Wigan Warriors

James Greenwood has hobbled off for Salford Red Devils in their fixture against Wigan Warriors tonight.

The Salford forward was hit with a hard tackle from Wigan’s Tommy Leuluai and the collision as Greenwood went to the floor looked to have cause serious concern.

Meanwhile, Wigan also suffered a big blow to one of their young stars, Kai Pearce-Paul, in tonight’s Challenge Cup fixture against Salford Red Devils.

The rangy back-rower or centre, went down early in the first-half clutching his groin, and, after being assessed by the physio, was taken off.

John Bateman dropped into the centres with Oliver Partington coming off the bench to take Bateman’s place in the back-row.
