Salford Red Devils have confirmed that Krisnan Inu has signed a new five-year deal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2029 season.
It’s a huge boost for the club with Inu having formed part of the trio that also includes head coach Paul Rowley and fellow coach Kurt Haggerty.
Under their tenure, Salford Red Devils have been dubbed as the ‘Great Entertainers’ with the club playing some of the most attractive rugby whilst operating on one of the smallest budgets.
In keeping Inu for a further five years it will inevitably lead to speculation about what it means for head coach Paul Rowley who has been linked heavily with the Leeds Rhinos job.
It would be assumed that if Rowley were to ever depart Salford he’d take his two trusted allies with him so Inu’s long-term deal could be a sign that Rowley, as he has continually expressed, is set to stay at Salford.

News of Inu’s deal broke last night with Salford Red Devils sharing a statement as three other Super League games took place.
A statement shared on the club website read: “We are delighted to reveal Krisnan Inu has penned a new five-year deal as part of the coaching team.”
On extending his stay at the Red Devils, Krisnan has said: “Happy to have inked a deal to stay.
“Linking up with Paul & Kurt played a key role in making my decision, and keeping this coaching team together was an easy yes.
“Thank you to those involved, especially my wife Camille who continues to let me continue my dream of staying in the game, from playing to coaching.”
Managing Director, Paul King has also said: “Krisnan has been a fantastic servant to the Club and I am delighted that he has chosen to remain with us for the long-term.
“He has brought experience from both sides of the world to our dressing room and is a well-respected figure amongst his peers, and the wider rugby world.
“He is a crucial member of our coaching team, and I am looking forward to what they can achieve together this season, and beyond!”
Salford Red Devils will take on Castleford Tigers today knowing that a win will see them leap ahead of St Helens and solidify their playoff position after a loss last week.
