Leeming hands in transfer request
Huddersfield Giants hooker Kruise Leeming has reportedly handed in a transfer request, amid growing interest from Leeds Rhinos.
Leading journalist Matthew Shaw said in League Express: “The Giants made other clubs aware of his availability after he informed them of his desire to leave, with Leeds Rhinos the only club that has currently expressed an interest in the Swaziland-born talent.”
Cowboys emerge as potential destination for Mitchell
North Queensland Cowboys have now emerged as a potential destination for centre Latrell Mitchell, according to 7 News in Australia.
Mitchell has won back-to-back NRL titles with Sydney Roosters.
It was announced earlier this month that Mitchell would leave Sydney Roosters, after the NRL champions withdrew their latest contract offer for him.
Roosters coach Trent Robinson says a desire to play fullback is part of the reason he wants out of the club.
Mitchell had been touted for a move to Wests Tigers, but now the Cowboys have emerged as a major player.
According to the report, he arrived in Townsville and was given a tour of the facilities and met with top officials.
Leigh looking at Kopzcak
Leigh Centurions are believed to be interested in signing Wakefield Trinity forward Craig Kopzcak, according to League Express.

Kopzcak would bring a wealth of Super League experience to the table, and the Centurions are keen to hold talks with the former Huddersfield Giants and Salford Red Devils prop.
The Welsh international turns 33 in December and could be tempted by a big-money offer from the Championship outfit.
Warrington interested in Lisone
Warrington Wolves are reportedly interested in New Zealand Warriors forward Sam Lisone, according to League Weekly.
The Samoan international has four caps for his country, and has made 86 first-grade appearances for the Warriors since making his debut in 2015.
Williams not heading for Super League
Powerhouse forward Tony Williams will not be coming to England.
‘T-Rex’ was reportedly offered to Super League clubs after being left off Manly’s 2020 roster.
However the Sea Eagles have had a change of mind, offering the 30-year-old a new one-year contract worth $100,000 according to NRL.com.
