Rugby League World Cup Day 2 Betting Review

Well the world cup is underway and we have 3 games to look forward to, early tomorrow.
1st game kicks off at 6 and it sees Wales get a 20 point start for their game against Papua New Guinea.

PNG have home advantage for this one,   and I’m  with the bookies.
Home advantage causes it’s own pressure but this is a fairly weak Welsh squad and it could be a long  afternoon for them.
The hosts are unbackable at 1/10 to win the game, you can get 7/1 for a Welsh shock win, but I think PNG can win this by around 31-35 points.

Match of the day sees New Zealand take on Samoa,  these 2 played a classic in 2013 and this could be a similar try fest.
The Kiwis have lost some notable stars to Tonga but should be too strong for a Samoan side that were well beaten by England 4 months ago.
Again the Kiwis are short at 2/9 to win the game but should win this.  I’d certainly want more than the 7/2 for Samoa, they get a 12 point start on the handicap which is about right

There were 66 points in the 2013 World Cup and the value could be going over the 42.5 total points line.

Final game sees Fiji take on USA.
I’m not sure this USA side will be as good as they one that came over here in 2013 and this is backed up by the bookies giving them a 32 point start on the handicap.
It wouldn’t be good for the tournament to see a big rout in week one so I hope Brian Macs side can keep it a tad closer than that.
The Fijians are unbackable at 1/100 and should win comfortably,  it’s 22/1 for a USA shock.
The handicap is hard to call if pushed I’d  say a Fiji win by around 21-25 points.

3 more games tomorrow as always please gamble responsibly
