Rugby League star given TEN-MATCH ban for putting his finger up opponent’s bottom

Huddersfield forward Kenny Edwards has been banned for ten matches for putting his finger up the bottom of an opponent.

Edwards was cited by referee Ben Thaler as Huddersfield went down 50-12 to Catalans Dragons, with Sam Kasiano the recipient of Edwards’ digit.

The Kiwi was charged by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel with the most serious offence available – Grade F – for “other contrary behaviour” and referred to an independent tribunal, which handed out the punishment following a hearing on Wednesday evening.

The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge and was also slapped with a £500 fine.
