Super League leaders Wigan Warriors welcome York Knights to the Brick Community Stadium tonight with the team news for both clubs confirmed.
Wigan remain unbeaten so far this season with the Warriors having won all four games in Super League whilst also making it to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup, where they will face Wakefield Trinity away.
As for tonight’s visitors York, they’ve fared better in their debut Super League campaign than many would expect with the Knights sitting at two wins and two losses, defeating both Hull KR and Hull FC whilst also progressing to the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
They face a far stiffer test tonight though with Wigan having started the year in blistering form but the absence of star duo Bevan French (hamstring) and Jai Field (appendicitis) certainly levels the playing field somewhat, at least on paper.
Each team has now confirmed their matchday squad ahead of kick-off at 8:00 pm tonight.
