Just past the halfway stage of the Super League season, we’ve looked at how every club has fared in terms of playing players from their own academy.
Some prove far more successful than others because they have long-established academies, whilst other sides, namely Salford Red Devils, have been forced to call upon their youngsters this season.
Not all of the academy products are young players though with veterans such as Ryan Hall and Kallum Watkins both recently returning to Leeds Rhinos, an academy system they’d joined years before.
It’s no surprise that the teams with historically strong academy systems rank highly for the number of players used but it hasn’t necessarily correlated to success in the 2025 season.
Here’s where every Super League club ranks in terms of players used that played for their own academy.
