Barring derby day and the big events such as Magic Weekend, the annual trip to France is one of the first things that all fans will look for on Super League fixture release day.
Today is that day, and there is added excitement in the air this year, with Toulouse Olympique back in the division for the first time since 2022, meaning there is an extra overseas away day for supporters to enjoy.
Some clubs have lucked out, and got both away fixtures to France in the middle of the summer, and will be able to enjoy the hot weather. Others, haven’t been so fortunate, and will travel at the beginning of the campaign when the weather is not so nice, and will have to pack an extra layer of clothing for game day.
Here is the full list of when every Super League club will be jetting off to the south of France in 2026, now that the full set of fixtures have been revealed.
When are each Super League club’s French away days?
Bradford Bulls
The Bulls will celebrate their first season back in the top flight in over a decade with a trip to Perpignan in Round 15. They will take on the Dragons on Saturday 20th June, before renewing their rivalry with Toulouse Olympique on Saturday 29th August.
Castleford Tigers
Ryan Carr coached Featherstone Rovers away at Toulouse twice in his stint there in 2019, and he will return to the city in Round 2, on Saturday 21th February.
His first time at the Stade Gilbert Brutus will be on Saturday 13th June, in Round 14.
Catalans Dragons
Les Dracs will travel to Toulouse on Saturday 25th July, as part of the third and final ‘Rivals Round’.
They will also travel to a neutral venue yet to be confirmed on the same week as Magic Weekend to take on their French rivals.
Huddersfield Giants:
The Giants will be the first side to head to Catalans in 2026, as they travel on the opening round of the season. They will play on Friday 13th February, in what is the Dragons’ only home game to not be played on a Saturday, as it stands.
Luke Robinson’s men will then face Toulouse on Saturday 15th August, with that game coming after a string of difficult fixtures that include Leeds twice, Leigh, Warrington and St Helens.
Hull FC:
The Black and Whites have both French trips in the space of three weeks, with their first coming at Catalans on Saturday 22nd August (Round 24).
FC will be Toulouse’s last home game of the regular season, with John Cartwright’s men travelling in Round 26, on Friday 4th September
Hull KR:
The reigning Champions will take on Catalans in Round 5, but it won’t be their first overseas game of the season after playing in Las Vegas three weeks prior. That game is scheduled for Saturday 21st March.
They will then travel to Toulouse a month later, taking on the Championship Grand Final winners on Friday 17th April, one week after the Hull Derby.
Leeds Rhinos:
The last time Leeds travelled to Toulouse, they were beaten 20-6, with Brad Dwyer scoring their only try that day. They will get the chance to avenge that loss on Friday 12th June.
They will travel to Perpignan one week after Magic Weekend, with their game against Catalans on Saturday 11th July.
Leigh Leopards:
Adrian Lam’s men will have a bank holiday weekend in Catalans next year, with their game set for Saturday 2nd May.
Leigh are yet to travel to Toulouse since their rebrand to the Leopards. That run will end on Saturday 27th June.
St Helens:Â
Whilst Leeds and Hull KR battle it out in Vegas, Saints will be in the south of France taking on the Dragons on the same day – Saturday 28th February.
They will return to the country one month later, as they face Toulouse on Friday 20th March.
Toulouse Olympique:
Sylvain Houles’ side will travel to Catalans on the Easter weekend, as their rivalry continues for the first time in three years. They will play on Easter Saturday – 4th April.
As mentioned above, they will be part of Magic Weekend in France, as they take on the Dragons at a venue yet to be announced
Wakefield Trinity:
In a repeat of the 2024 Championship Grand Final, Trinity will take on Toulouse on Saturday 23rd May.
Daryl Powell’s side had one of the best matches of the season away at Catalans last year, as they lost out in golden point after kicking a penalty goal to level the scores in the final minutes of normal time. They will return to Perpignan on Saturday 1st August, and will hope they can come away with the two points this time around.
Warrington Wolves:
Wire will go into their game against Catalans full of confidence, having beaten the Dragons on the last four occasions, with two of them coming away from home. They will be looking to make it five on the bounce when they travel there on Saturday 18th April.
The Wolves will then head to the Olympians on Saturday 16th May, one week after the Challenge Cup semi-finals.
Wigan Warriors:
The Warriors’ second away game of the season will take them to Toulouse, with that game scheduled for Saturday 7th March.
Wigan will still travel to France to face the Dragons next year, but it won’t be to Perpignan. Their game will take place in Paris on Saturday 6th June.
York Knights:
The newly-promoted side will get their Championship Grand Final rematch away from home on Saturday 18th July.
York have only ever played Catalans twice in the club’s history, with their last match coming back in the Challenge Cup in 2018. The Dragons were victorious that day, as they went on to lift the trophy.
The Knights will head to the Stade Gilbert Brutus for the first time ever on Saturday 5th September – Catalans’ final home game of the season.
