Struggling Warrington Wolves host Hull FC on Saturday evening and the squads for both sides have been confirmed.
Wire have been bang out of form in Super League with their Challenge Cup final appearance masking over their poor run. They’ve lost seven of their last nine in Super League which has seen them drop to eighth, a whopping five points from the play-offs.
Hull FC are the team occupying sixth spot so defeat at the Halliwell Jones Stadium will see that gap extend even further leaving Sam Burgess’ side a tough task over the final 11 games of the season.
One thing worth noting is that Wire are yet to play Salford Red Devils and their injury issues have been well-documented but Saturday’s game feels massive in the context of the season.
John Cartwright’s side aren’t without their own injury issues either with stars such as John Asiata and Will Pryce out, along with a host of other forwards.

Sam Stone was handed a debut last week and he’s set to feature again but the big call revolves around Matt Dufty. BBC Sport Merseyside had reported that a late fitness call would be made on the full-back but he has been named in the squad.

McKinney is a prop forward and has been a key part of the reserves set-up, even earning reserves player of the month in March this year.
