Warrington Wolves fan and World Darts Champion Luke Littler has given his verdict on who will make the Super League Grand Final in 2026.
Despite being only 19 and a relative unknown to many sports fans just a matter of years ago, Littler is now among the most recognisable sports personalities in the United Kingdom.
His sensational run to the final of the World Darts Championship in 2024, aged just 16, captured the attention of the sporting world and he’s since followed that up by winning the competition in 2025 and 2026.
A massive Warrington Wolves fan, the teen has now touted Sam Burgess’ side to make it all the way to the Grand Final in 2026, something they have not done since 2018 when Littler was just 11 years of age.
In fact, the last piece of silverware to be paraded at the Halliwell Jones Stadium was Littler’s World Darts Championship trophy, which he showed off in early 2025 with the ground being renamed as the Luke Littler Stadium for that night.

Is it finally Warrington Wolves’ year?
He’ll be hoping that Wire can showcase the Super League Grand Final trophy this time next year, however, he has stopped short of tipping Warrington for a win at Old Trafford.
Asked for a prediction in a video shared by Sky Sports Rugby League on social media, Littler said: “I’ve not said one yet but my prediction is that Warrington Wolves will go to Old Trafford.”
Pushed further on whether Warrington will end their Old Trafford curse and win a Grand Final at the fifth time of asking, Littler didn’t deviate, simply stating: “We’ll go to Old Trafford.”
A Manchester United fan, Littler is no stranger to Old Trafford but he’s keen to go to support his beloved Wire, having not attended back in 2018 for their most recent trip.
He said: “I’ve never been to watch us, I missed our last final against Wigan (2018) where we didn’t get the win. I was at home for that one.
“To go to Old Trafford for the rugby and not the football would mean the world, so hopefully we can get there this year.”
Warrington are priced up at 18/1 to lift the Grand Final trophy by the competition’s title sponsor Betfred, making them sixth favourites.
