Warrington Wolves confirm change in venue for upcoming away fixture with new details revealed

Warrington Wolves

Warrington Wolves have confirmed new details for one of their upcoming away fixtures with the game set to be played at a different venue.

Wire, who remain unbeaten so far this season, will travel to France in May when they take on Toulouse Olympique but the game will not be played at the Stade Ernest-Wallon, as was initially planned.

The Stade Ernest-Wallon is Toulouse’s home ground but the Olympians share it with rugby union club Stade Toulousain and that sometimes leads to clashes.

That is what has happened for Warrington Wolves’ fixture against Sylvain Houles’ side with the game now being ‘relocated’ to a separate stadium in the city, where the Olympians played twice in 2025 due to similar situations.

Thankfully for Wire fans who have already booked travel, that is the only change with the game still set to take place on Saturday, May 16th whilst kick off remains 6:00 pm local time. It’s only the venue that has changed.

Warrington Wolves’ away day sees stadium change

The new venue has been confirmed as the Stade Michel Bendichou in Colomiers, a suburb of Toulouse that is only 11 kilometres away from the Stade Ernest-Wallon, meaning the disruption to fans is minimal.

A statement from Wire confirmed the change, announcing: “Warrington Wolves’ away Super League fixture against Toulouse Olympique has been relocated due to stadium availability, with the match now set to take place at the Stade Michel Bendichou in Colomiers.

“The 11,000-capacity venue is located in the largest suburb of the Toulouse region and is easily accessible via public transport, offering a convenient option for travelling supporters.

“The fixture details remain unchanged, with the Wire still set to face Toulouse on Saturday 16 May, kicking off at 6pm (CET) / 5pm (UK time).”

Ticket information is set to come at the end of the month.
