Warrington Wolves’ Challenge Cup final ratings as one man scores 9/10 in heartbreaking defeat

Warrington Wolves suffered Wembley disappointment for the second successive year this afternoon, despite being the better side for most of a thrilling Challenge Cup final.

Sam Burgess’ side were four points up until two minutes from time when the Robins scored their only try to snatch it with an 8-6 win.

It was tough on the underdogs who gave their all and had the game’s outstanding player in Marc Sneyd who lifted the Lance Todd Trophy for a record-equalling third time.

Here’s how the Warrington players rated.
