Wakefield Trinity have thanked one of their prop forward for his service after confirming their immediate release.
Trinity took to social media to confirm that young prop forward Isaac Shaw was leaving the club via mutual consent as they thanked him for his services.
Shaw, who is just 22, has made 12 appearances for Trinity since 2022, making his debut during their 2022 campaign.
He would make five appearances that year and made another two appearances in Super League in 2023, one of which came for Hull KR as the Robins loaned in players when they rested players ahead of the 2023 Challenge Cup Final.
The 2024 campaign saw him split time between Hunslet and Wakefield, making six appearances for Trinity as they had a treble-winning campaign in the Championship.
He failed to register an appearance in 2025 for Daryl Powell’s side but made six appearances for Championship outfit Batley Bulldogs.

Now the club have wished him well as he looks to “pursue another opportunity”.
A statement on social media read: “Isaac Shaw has left Wakefield Trinity by mutual consent to pursue another opportunity.
“We would like to pass on our thanks to Isaac for his service over the years and want to wish him well on his future career!”
Trinity have brought through plenty of talented youngsters in recent years with Shaw being one of many. Among those in the current team are young hooker Harvey Smith whilst Ellis Lingard recently debuted in Super League, scoring a try in the win against Salford Red Devils.
Daryl Powell’s side will face a major test on Sunday when they take on Leigh Leopards with Trin hoping to push back into the top six and close the gap on Leigh, who currently sit three points ahead of them.
Wakefield lost the Challenge Cup quarter-final meeting between the two earlier this year having beaten Leigh at the week before in Super League.
